Native children's clothing - Beyond Skyrim: Roscrea

I took the task of designing kid clothing for Roscrea! These were to have a nordic feel while being distinct from Skyrim. As in our lore, it is a small northern island who's people greatly value fauna, I went with mostly animal materials, taking inspiration from medieval and ancient Europe as well as northern native people.

Sown out of woolen fabric and animal skins, they are comfortable and warm. Additional decorations are made from bone beads, leathers and woven ribbons. Small bells adorn the shoulders, a practice born to avoid losing your children in the blinding snow. While the children here are too old for this to be in effect, the bells remain as a cultural symbol of childhood.
